Stony Brook Township

STONY BROOK TOWNSHIP
 
Stony Brook Township was organized on July 30, 1877 by petition and named for Stony Brook and Stony Lake. Early settlers were Edward Griffin, Hans H. Terrace, Knute Haavig, Stiner S. Skinnemoen, H.G. Lillemon, Martinus Larson, Chris Mobraaten, Tosten K. Dahlen, and Peder Gulbranson.
